Tom Jones speaks openly about his plastic surgery

The Welsh singing legend freely admits he has updated his looks, he also says he has attracted female attention for his natural grey hair.

In an interview to promote the charity single (Barry) Islands In The Stream, which went to No 1 yesterday, he said his goatee was just an attempt to cover the scar from an operation to remove the fat from under his chin.

Jones also said he had the “heaviness taken out of his eyelids”, his teeth capped, and his nose straightened, but said he would not try Botox.

The singer, who performed on Friday’s Comic Relief Does Top of the Pops show with Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones, revealed some of the positive feedback he had received since ditching the dye.
